	This And That 7:29 am-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Happy New Year! 2009 is here. I spent a mostly quiet night at work. Had a few drunk assholes from a wedding party that stayed the night. But overall it was a pretty smooth night. X-Mas went well. No fights between me and my brother. I got mostly clothes from the brother, his wife, and my mother. Damn them for ruining X-Mas like that. My mother did suppport my WoW habit by throwing in a WoW gift card with all the clothes. I then went with the newbs (guy needs a new nickname)  to the Wisconsin Dells. Gawain made me remember not everyone knows about shit that is of local knowledge here in my neck of the woods. We stayed two nights at Wilderness Territory, a resort/water park. Me and the nephew got up early in the mornings and goofed off in various ways as his parents and sister still slept. We did some swimming and I soon realized how big the place was after walking back and forth from the hotel room to the water park parts of the resort. Thank god they had courtesy shuttles. The year ahead has me turning 37. Which I’m ok with this one just because it happens to be one of the funny numbers. The other being 42. So hitting 37 is fine. Turinng 38 next year will be back to the same terrible dread of the past years. Today the family celebrates the new year by eating lucky pasta as we have done for decades. It will be the entire family again. Hopefully it goes as good as X-Mas did.

	Stuck 10:15 am-Turk Comments (0) Pictures Permalink (No Ratings Yet) It’s December. I hate the snow. Big snow storm hit us last night. I made it all the way home from Janesville on the I-90 Interstate. The trip to and from home to work is about 20 miles each way. I made the trip home only to get stuck as I started to pull into my driveway. The odd thing about December is that I love Christmas. Been listening to the Bing Crosby X-Mas music any time I’m in the car. But as soon as X-Mas morning hits the mood is lost. You may notice the javascript snow is back too. So Merry Christmas to everyone!

I start to think about the phat lewt I’m going to get in the morning. Work is so dead. As it should on a day like this. I have a Tabula Rasa post I’m working on. I just don’t feel motivated to write stuff and I don’t think a post with just screenshots is very interesting at all. Home now. Merry Christmas for those people that celebrate this day whether it’s for Jesus or for presents.
