I really have not had much to say the whole month as you can tell by the fact this is the first time I opened my mouth in December. Your Star Wars Last Name: 1. Take the first 2 letters of your mother’s maiden name. 2. Add the first 3 letters of the name of the town in which you were born. There you go! Saturday June 5th 1999

	Episode One Part Six 7:14 pm-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Well I have seen the Phantom menace six times as of today. My old man thinks that is a little over kill. For the sixth venture into the world of Episode one Izer and me dragged our good friend Stanley and his son Jonathan. My thinking was that Jonathan would be enchanted by the power of Star Wars. It turned out to have a kind of hit and miss effect on him. You could see that he was really into the annoying comic relief character of Jar Jar Binks. Who I happen to really hate with a passion. But Jar Jar is in the movie to have that effect on kids. There were many parts of the movie little Jonathan was bouncing around in his seat checking out what was happening in the theater not the movie. Its ok though, he has been seduced by the hype of the movie. Jonathan all ready has the Darth Maul sandals and bike. Darth Maul by the way has the kind of name that will confuse some Americans. You hear the name Darth Maul said out loud and you might think he is the dark lord of the shopping mall not the Dark lord of the Sith. Any way I have faith in the kid, with his tendency to adore everything I do I’m quite sure I will be able to brain wash him into a Star Wars Junkie. Just ask him why he wears socks with his sandals! After I convert Jonathan over to the darkside I have to work on the Izers young one. So I have ran out of steam and must bring this to a close. See ya next time. Oh yeah I have to say hi to my bud Lumpy who may have finally figured out to pull up my website on his computer. At least that’s what he will claim. I know it was his smart wife that did it. 	Five Years Old And Loving It 1:32 pm-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Well here it is almost afternoon and I have not said a word about the movie. I decided not to mention any of the story on my page. If you want to have the show ruined for you there are plenty of places out there on the net that can do it for you. After the movie was over I made a pit stop at the hotel to use the bathroom and spent some time talking to one of the auditors. I mentioned I just got back from seeing the new Star Wars movie and that I really enjoyed it. So we started talking about Star Wars in general (actually I did most of the talking). So I mention that I felt like I was five again, seeing episode one made me young. I didn’t notice it until I was talking to her but I felt more than just young. I felt intoxicated, like I had been drinking. Yet it was a good buzz there’s no doubt in that. It was a strange moment. I tell her this and she says that I did look giddy. Me giddy? We see the show again at 6:50pm today. So I will see if the intoxicating effect happens again. I hope it does, I still feel really good.

	Jedi Mind Trick 12:46 am-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Ok its 9:30 right now. At 12:02am I will be seeing The Phantom Menace. I have to say that I am a little excited. It better be good. Kenan(a dark jedi) has foreseen that the movie will be a success. I just hope that George doesn’t fuck it up. In fact saying I’m excited doesn’t do justice to how I feel right now. I feel like I’m five again. That’s the weird thing about this whole Star Wars thing that has happened. It doesn’t just interest people my age(25-30), it reaches people of all ages. My dad wants to see it, Kenan and Izer’s dads want to see it. Even my grumpy bricklaying brother wants to see the movie. So enough for now, in a few hours I will write up on my thoughts of the movie.

I don’t dress up as a character or any really weird shit like that. I do love the movies. I even had been on record as saying that I wasn’t going to see the movie on opening night to avoid the crazy mad rush of the crowds. You should have seen the night Star Wars was re-released. It was a mad house. So for those of you who are not going or couldn’t get tickets I have for your enjoyment the scanned images of my tickets.

First the movie is being released on May 19 two day earlier. You also can download the second trailer if you are bored and want to waste a few hours. You can check out all of this and download the trailer at the Countdown To Star Wars website. Keep in mind the trailer weighs in at 25mb. Also related to Star Wars, at the same website mentioned above you can download a home made spoof of the trailer called the South Park Special Edition Trailer. This one weighs in at 13.6mb. This what I’m downloading as we speak. I put up some shots if it’s really funny.

Friday December 4th 1998

	Star Wars Episode 1 3:00 am-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) I don’t know if anyone else has been paying attention to things relating to the Star Wars movies, but I have been meaning to mention this. If you are not aware, Star Wars episode one will be at theaters May 99. A trailer was released on the net and at movie theaters. I spent eight hours downloading the trailer from a site called countdown to Star Wars. I have followed some of the rumors and such. And I was a little worried about the casting of Ben Kenobi. If you don’t know, Ewan Macgregor is playing the young Ben. This worried me because the majority of Macgregor’s work are kind of weird movies such as Trainspotting. To me he just wasn’t right for the role. These feelings were put to rest with the release of the trailer. Wow! You only see him in one bit where he talks, but his accent is perfect. None of his hard Scottish accent like in Trainspotting. Plus we have Liam Neeson and Samuel Jackson in the movie. Of course it will be weird not having Jackson swearing, but I will live with it. Can’t expect him to say shit like “that mutha-fucka is a true jedi.” It just would be wrong. You can also check out www.starwars.com for more info.
