The timeframe for this upgrade will be from 3:00PM to 9:00PM EST. The estimated downtime will be about 5 minutes. So between 3:00PM to 9:00PM be aware of possible downtime here at Hotelblues.com.

	Hotelblues.com News 12:19 pm-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Ok I have found my new host. It’s a place called Pas-Com Web-Hosting and they have the most bang for the buck. For 22 bucks a month they give you 500 mb of web space, 10 gigabytes of data transfer a month, PHP, MySQL Databases, and 50 POP mail accounts. So For the time being you may want to book mark http://subdomain400940.virtualave.net/ just in case the Hotelblues.com domain doesn’t work. I hope this will be a fast and trouble free transfer of files and the domain. Once again my free Hotelblues.com E-Mail account holders may have some outage on the access to the service while the domain transfers. I will try to keep you all informed on what’s going on as I make the move.

	Downtime 10:16 am-Turk Comments (0) Default Permalink (No Ratings Yet) I got an e-mail from my host and they wanted to tell me that I was moving servers. So I figured I would pass it on to you guys. In order to continue to provide quality service, we are migrating your account from its current home on server2.virtualave.net to server9.virtualave.net. DNS records will be updated to make this change mostly transparent, but the final transfer of data from the current server requires a brief outage of approximately 4 hours, beginning Thursday, July 12th, 2001 at 9:00 am PDT (16:00 UTC); you will not be able to make updates to your Web site during this time, though users will still be able to view your pages. I know it says “users will still be able to view your pages”. But just in case you have been warned. I will be making a back up of all my data the day before. Again just in case. I read enough of other sites having horror stories about moving servers. So everyone cross their fingers.
