I have been a Monty Python fan for a long time, but I have never looked for Monty’s presence on the web. So I have to say thanks to a friend of mine who sent me a link to a really good Monty Python fan site. It’s called the
Unofficial Monty Python Home Page. This place has transcripts of the episodes and, MP3’s of some of the songs. They have more than that, I just haven’t got done looking through the transcripts. If you like Python then this site is one you want to take a look at.

One reader wrote in with this opinion on the entry from the Guestbook that I mentioned on November 2:

In response to the over done rant as to people at your place of employment. I must say that the person that wrote that line of shit has the maturity of someone in the latter part of puberty! To put it another way WELCOME TO LIFE ! people are petty, juvenile and, forgive the non-pc, [attitude] retarded! take more care in picking your friends!

Me being the impartial guy I am, won’t comment on this. All I say is that I have washed my hands from the whole mess. And that is more than enough. Move on, there’s nothing to see here.

Sergei Fedorov plays hockey in case you didn’t know. Hockey is a great game. Sergei is a great hockey player. Recently me and Sergei had a misunderstanding. You see I interfered with Sergei and the game. And some words were said. To watch Sergei play the game of hockey is one thing, to get involved with how he plays is another. I guess recently I got to into the game more than I should. So I wasn’t probably thinking to much about how it would effect Fedorov. Hell I probably didn’t care either. Now I don’t think I meant it, maybe in the back of my head I figured the game would be fine without Fedorov.

Sure you can just chalk this up to delusions of grandeur. Some time it hard to separate yourself from the game. But I know the game is better with Fedorov. In fact this kind of thing happened before. When I stayed away from Fedorov and the game everything was fine. Hell I even thought about that before me and Fedorov’s misunderstanding. Some times no matter what you feel about the game you have to walk away. It’s the best thing to not get involved with the game, for Fedorov sake. Fedorov the hockey player doesn’t need me distracting him. His concentration must be on the game. He doesn’t need any more hecklers calling out from the audience. I like the game don’t get me wrong, but I like Fedorov also. So I would rather be on Fedorov’s side. It’s just best for the game of hockey and that is the most important thing.

What if Fedorov doesn’t care you may ask? Well that’s ok. I would rather hear about Fedorov and the game every once in a while than interfere with it. Is this a apology? No. It’s just a statement on my part to make sure the game goes on. Is this a rather melodramatic reaction? Could be. But then I have a flair for the melodramatic. Take it for what you will. All I’m saying is that I will not see the game again. I won’t talk about the game. I even won’t ever mention any thing about the game again on the website. You should know me better Fedorov. But then maybe you do.

Ok, in the GuestBook recently a person signed on as “Fuck You” and had this to say:

I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT ANYBODY IN THAT PLACE CALLS EACH OTHER FRIENDS. KEEPING SECRETS, TALKING BEHIND ONE’S BACK… IT NEVER ENDS. I JUST WISH THAT PEOPLE WOULD REALIZE HOW VALUABLE FRIENDSHIPS ARE. THE HOTEL IS A SHITHOLE, WITH TRASH FOR EMPLOYEES ( WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS)

Now I kinda have a feeling about who or what this is about. Yet me trying to uphold some kind of journalistic integrity it’s my obligation to put this down. Anyway, any one can see this post in the GuestBook. The header was under “Who Cares?” Now not speaking for everyone, I happen to care. I don’t know the facts. In fact I don’t want to know the facts. These people are my friends, for better or worse. To quote Rodney King “Can’t we all get along?” Sometimes people don’t realize what their actions will bring. Maybe people need to think what the consequences of their actions will be. In this case, the writer of this GuestBook entry may not realize how many people will misunderstand. But I am just one man, trying to understand a great big world.

I was surfing around looking for some web pages that have a kindred spirit with mine and found more than I expected. I put up the link to the www.ishouldbeworking.com website but have not got an answer back from them. They just had a feature done on them in the USA Today so I’m sure they are some busy people over there. I did get a reply from the fine folks over at www.worksnotfun.com , who will be giving me a link on their page. The one thing I do dislike about this whole trading of link thing is that the pictures (gifs to those that are net savvy) never fit in my side menu thing. I always have to resize them so they don’t mess up my delicate balance I have going on.

This is the one they label daring. But hey, I laugh in the face of danger. Of course if anyone reads this from work pretend it’s my evil doppelganger doing all of this.

Ok because I have been such a lazy bastard as of late I decided to take the easy way out by throwing up some content that’s damn near a year old. I thought up this crazy thing one night at work last year around this time. And I always love the classic Star Trek episode “Mirror ,Mirror”. You know the one where Kirk and company get zapped into a alternate reality were everything is opposite of the world they came from. Ok so I’m a Star trek geek.

The following is a fine example of my twisted sense of humor. You have to keep in mind that my mind set has changed a little since then. Some of it needs a setup. Spider who is mentioned in the following stuff was/is my alter ego that I created for the sole purpose of making fun of the management of the hotel without me catching flak over it. I have always felt not enough people responded to it so that’s another excuse for me reprinting it.

I also have to say hi to Curt from the kitchen who has finally joined those of us who are cyber-savvy. Curt has made me feel terribly guilty for not updating the site in such a long time. So hi Curt. Also if any of the Ross’s happen to still hit the page hi to you guy’s too. I have been just as bad with my e-mail as I have with the web page. If Jeff or Jen happen to read this I’m sorry for being so lazy lately. And I need Jeff’s e-mail address again, because I lost it when I had my trouble with the Linux OS.

This really hasn’t got any thing to do with the hotel biz, but this is too classic to pass up. Pizza Hut has reportedly agreed to pay 2.5 million dollars to Russia for permission to paint a giant Pizza Hut logo on the side of the spacecraft.
