Well I have been playing DAoC some more and I’ve made level 19. And I have noticed that I’m getting better at killing stuff. Which really is the point of the game isn’t it? Now I’m not knocking the game. I dig it. I wouldn’t write about the game if I didn’t like it.

Sadly my hitting level 19 was a lonely event. It was me and three other AOD guild mates playing. These guys were upper twenties to low thirties. Not a peep out of them when I made my level. Usually you would type in something like “Ding, made a level” which would be followed by the others with “Congrats” and maybe a “Woot” or two.

Now I don’t blame them. They could have been busy or in the group channel. But it was a lonely moment. This is why I have to start playing during the pm hours. I have been getting on when I get home in the morning from work. The game really is more fun when playing with other people.

Oh well. I have found a great spot for hunting solo and I made my level there in just a few hours. So I’ll see if my luck holds out and maybe I’ll hit twenty by tomorrow.

Here is a neat link that I thought was really cool. The LOTR Personality Test. Then I took it and was a little bummed. It turns out that I’m Boromir. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Oh poor Boromir. I did think the LOTR’s movie played Boromir a little to bad. Boromir wasn’t bad, just a little misguided. I thought the dude that played him did a great job. Seeing Boromir die was neat in an epic kind of way. So I guess there’s worse things to be than poor Boromir.

Okay the Poll is now fixed. I hope. The culprit was that I hadn’t popped in the code for the cookies on every page. It should be kosher now. Well that’s it. Go about your business, there’s nothing to see here.

I wouldn’t worry about the fire-thing. If it hasn’t happened by now, it probably won’t. I hope I didn’t make a mistake the other night at our little banquet X-mas party. The lady at the unemployment office handed Melecia 2 discrimination forms when she was told the story of how we got fired. I don’t know if I should get that stuff started or not. I don’t care if you print what I say or not. That was probably a rumor about you being fired. I know one thing, you better not have an opinion around there, you will be fired.

I’m not worrying about getting fired again. I think you should fight it. But then I’m a trouble maker. As far as telling people about my website. Go right ahead. This isn’t something I’m going to hide. So tell everyone.

I tell you there is nothing like another stick of 256mb of ram to give you a sigh of relief. I had in the past some problems with a few games. For example some of the Quake 3 based games like RTCW and the Allied Assault demo.

If I ran these game with everything set to high I’d get some stuttering and shit like that. And that shouldn’t happen. Not with my rig. So I slapped more ram and bingo. Man that Windows XP is a hungry bitch.

I picked up the February issue of Computer Gaming World and it had a demo for Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault. Wow this game is awesome! It is like your in the movie Saving Private Ryan. The graphics are great and the sound is also excellent. It really puts you into the WWII setting. The demo is also available for download. I’ll have some more info later. I have to get to work.
