A few months ago I bought a new digital camera. I’ve been carrying it with me when I goto work. This morning on the drive home to work traffic was backed up for miles because of an accident.

You may notice the snow. I think this is the second snowfall we have had up here in my neck of the woods.

A hotel post. A little background on the new hotel. It’s had it’s famous guests. Take note of the photos below.

The hotel has a new system for punching in and out. It one of those fancy biometric deals. Scan your finger print to punch in. It sounds great on paper. The idea of punching others in is not so easy with this new system. Now one would have to cut the persons finger off to punch them in.

But as with all new things there are bugs to be found in the system. First off the pc running the software and Win XP is way to old. Secondly the management assholes have to work on the way the software restricts punching in and out.

Below you will see two examples of this. First shot shows how it won’t let me punch in because I’m into overtime. Without a supervisor password I can not punch in. Second shot shows what happens when a person tried to milk the clock, wanting supervisor approval to clock out.

At this time we are still using the old fashioned time clock to punch in and out on. Once this new system goes live (if it does) the question is what do you do if it won’t let you punch in (or out)? I’ll be going home. But that’s me. Very shortly I will have a detailed post on a major exploit regarding this new system. I will be showing everyone how to exploit this flaw and I even have a video that clearly shows how it is done.

I’m sure that very few of you ever think to yourself “I wonder what this guy looks like?” I’ve been bringing my digital camera with me to work since the sign got all fucked up (it still is broke). It was a particularly boring night so I decided to see what I could do with the timer on my camera. There are under 5 picture of me on this site for a good reason. As you can see:

Jesus I swear I don’t look that bad in person. It’s a combination of me hating work and having a really old shitty digital camera. But there I am. Just for those who wonder. That second pic is how I am almost the entire eight hours of my shift.

Some people are lazier than me when it comes to their job. Perfect example being those lazy assholes who deliver the USA Todays. These guys drive right through the overhang and toss the papers out the window. They don't stop. They don't check to see if the paper bundle broke and the papers have started to scatter. Shit theses guys barely slow down when they come through the overhang. This was the result of yesterdays delivery:

And they probably don't give a shit. Which is cool. I don't give a shit either about the USA Todays. In fact it's unfortunate my one redneck asshole wasn't in this time. I would have enjoyed the idea of making him pick them up. The last time was much worse than this. Last week this happened except the wind was blowing really good. Those USA Todays were all over the parking lot. What a mess.

Some days I just wish I had my digital camera on me at all times. Here at the shithole it’s been storming. Winds are blowing pretty hard and the rain has been pouring down fast. The great sign out front of the place just had the shit kicked out of it.

The bottom portion where the letters go to make up the messages on the sign just got blown off. I can’t say “just” of course. I have no idea when it actually happened. No windows to look out where I sit. Not that I give a shit either. That sign is so old it was just held together with spit and duct tape. The cheap fucks that own the place never would fix anything the correct way. And now it’s been blown over sort of speak.

I’ll go get my camera in the morning and snap a pic for my collection. I can take my time of course. Because the sign won’t be fixed to fast. They will have to spend money and stuff. In fact I predict it will be all fucked up for a few days at the least. More than enough time for me to get my camera and take my time doing so.

Well my fun with Guild Wars is over with at work. Well unless your idea of fun is watching the “Connecting to ArenaNet” stay at 0% all night. It was only a matter of time before port number 6112 was shut off.

All things considering I’m not all that disappointed. It’s not that the game isn’t fun. It just that as of late I have been playing World of Warcraft again. More specifically playing on Icecrown (PvE Server) with the guild Hammer of Light. I forgot how much I missed the Alliance side of things after dirtying myself with the Horde on Stormreaver for so long.
