Ok the last time I talked about Star Trek Bridge Commander I mentioned my geekly anticipation to play this sucker. Well a week ago I spent the whole night downloading the 110mb demo. So I finally got to play this neat Star Trek game. It’s safe to say this one will be a winner.

These shots (1024×768) show off the size difference to the starships and starbases (along with a shot of the ship in transit and a bridge shot):

The first four shots are in the “tactical view” and the last one is from the “bridge view”. “Tactical view” lets you see the outside of the ship. This is also the mode to manually control the starship. “Bridge view” is were you are sitting in the captains chair and you do it like Kirk and Picard. You order your crew and they do the best to follow your orders.

You don’t have to play one way or another. The “bridge view” is the easiest. Or it is the mode that lets you play with out to much micro managing. Fun either way. Here is a page that has six more screen shots showing the different bridge officers/stations you can command.

Well my distaste for the whole guild thing has slowly been building up. Today just took the cake. I think I’m going to be quitting the Acolytes of Destruction guild. And here is why:

Marisa: “too many dumb questions torri /gc leave”
Madagan: “she shouldnt have to leave”
Charlieloon: “true, should not have to leave, just go to web pages and get the info”
Marisa: “can someone send me a tell with this stops, so i can turn guild chat back on”

It’s sad that this has to happen. This alone is enough for me to leave. I haven’t really been participating in any guild functions, so it won’t be a change for me. So the next time I log in I’m saying goodbye to the AOD. And what an asshole this Marisa is. Fuck it’s people like her that make this a terrible game.

Well I’m at Lan Planet again. I hadn’t been here in a while and I wanted to play Command And Conquer Renegade. It’s a fps set in the C&C world. It’s supposed to be a blast. Alas the game isn’t working. So I have to wait. It will be out by the end of the month from what I hear.

Me and my cousin Tim are here goofing off. I just can’t get into it. I enjoy playing on my pc more. Maybe we will go and get a beer.

Now here is a game that I’ve found that holds some interest with me and this site. A game called Hotel Tycoon/Hotel Giant. There isn’t a lot of info on the game. The game doesn’t have a website. The developers have a site, but there is no info there. There is this page with some info here. It has a few screen shots. Here is the poop on the game:

*26 different types of hotels (urban, suburban, resorts and theme hotels).
*Advertising campaigns (TV, Radio, Newspapers, Magazines and Mail).
*8 different locations (Guestrooms, Restaurants, Bar, Gym, Business Center, Gaming Center, Swimming Pool, Library).
*3 perspectives: isometric, top view, 3D.
*Realistic and detailed simulation.
*Create your own website of your hotel with photos.

It’s supposed to come out in June. I will make a version of the hotel if I can. I will follow this game and keep you updated on it.

Well so I made it. I have some cool quests to do now. Hopefully I’ll get some good stuff. Stuff so I can kill better. But again, this is what it’s all about.

Hitting twenty allows me to get an emblem put on an article of clothing. I’m also high enough in the guild to get the emblem. It costs five gold to get the emblem put on your choice of clothing. Five gold was all I had to my name. Besides a few coppers. Here’s the emblem of the AOD that I’m wearing on my back:

Now I wouldn’t of picked purple. But I didn’t pick the colors. For that matter I wouldn’t have picked yellow and purple. But it’s no big deal. I’m just happy I’ve hit level 20.

Here it is a few hours and I can go home. This last night was my last day on, so I have four days off in front of me. The hotel has started to pick up a little bit. It wasn’t a spurt, more of a minor hiccup.

I added a few more things to the site. Over on the left (down a bit) is a DAoC server status list that tells you how many people are playing on each server. Below that is a link to a page that gives you the specifics on the Bors server. The Bors server being the one I play on.

Both of these items come the way of the DAoC Catacombs. This site has tons of info on the game. It also has a character builder where you can plan out you character from level 5-50. If you play the game add DAoC Catacombs to your bookmarks.

Well that’s about it. I’m looking forward to getting home so I can play. I’m getting a renewed enjoyment out of the game now that I’m on the verge of hitting the twenties level wise. Well I’ve got to get back to work.
