So how is everyone doing? Me I’m good. I haven’t been getting much play time in with DAoC. I just have been playing to much of the games I talked about on the 24th of November. And yeah if you think like Hunt I’m a loser. So I’m going to try to get some more time in with DAoC in the next couple of days.

I got a Poll over on the right. It’s another one of those things I don’t need but have. It’s kind of like the Forum.

I’ve got a bunch of hits from Blue’s News. I don’t know what that means, if it means anything. I think it’s cool that someone from over there has checked the my site out. I wouldn’t want a mention on Blue’s though. That would kill me. Hit wise it would be through the roof.

Well that’s it for now. December is a slow time for me. It’s dead at the hotel also. Go vote in the Poll.

Well it doesn’t seem like it’s already December. But here it is the first of the month. Time flies when your having fun? Two thousand and two is just around the corner.

There are a few things I’m looking forward to in 2002. January 31st is the day my site turns four. That’s kind of cool. I think it’s amazing that this site has lasted four years.

The Star Wars Geek in me is looking forward to May 2002. It opens May 15th? I’m going with that faith stuff that the religious people always have that Episode II will be good. Better than Episode One at least. Asking for Jar Jar to be cut into little bite size pieces is asking for to much?

Three years. So here it is, that day that has significance to probably just me. Seeing as it is my day that I have set aside to do my “year in review”. The first order of business would be to read the last two years worth. The Year In Review 1999 and The Year In Review 2000.

This year has been the same. Every year is just about the same for me. I have a well knit group of friends. Friends I wouldn’t trade for anything. And I am the same every year (besides that one summer I couldn’t listen to Billy Joel in my car, that is). The 1999 bit I wrote is a definite list of people I couldn’t do without. The 1999 bit I just can’t top. It really does sum it up.

This post is a departure from the last two years. The last two years were written and posted by 10:30pm. 10:30pm being the time the post I wrote when I had just got fired. This one had to be done in advance. As I stated last time, I’m going out for a beer at the Bop.

Okay on this Wednesday I’m going out for a drink to celebrate the third anniversary of me getting fired from the Holiday Inn. I may or may not have mentioned something about me getting a keg. Well times are tough at the hotel formally known as the Holiday Inn. So it’s a buy your own kind of deal.

So if your out and about on the 28th around nine pm, I will be down at the Bop having a cold one. Everyone is welcome. Friends, Enemies, and anyone in between. This is a good chance for you peoples I haven’t seen in a while to get back in touch with me.

Well beside my DAoC fix, I have a few other games I’m playing that keeps me from getting outside and seeing the real world.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon. Wow! This one is awesome. If you remember when I talked about Operation Flashpoint and how much I dug that game. Well Ghost Recon has it beat. Big time. Ghost has the other Clancy games like Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear beat also. It’s the closest thing to getting actual combat experience. Wonderful graphics and sound that puts you in the battlefield.

Empire Earth is also eating away at my free time. This one is made by one of the guys who did Age Of Empires. You could call it Age Of Empires 3. Full 3d and it expands on all the features and ideas that made Age Of Empires such a fun game.

Return To Castle Wolfenstien the sequel to the classic id game Wolfenstien 3d is also on my pile of current games I’m playing. RTCW is a cool WWII flavored shooter that is a lot of fun. And man does it look good (if you have the hardware).

And finally you have Aquanox. Aquanox is a game that I picked up just because it takes advantage of all of the bells and whistles my GeForce 3 is capable of. When I got this one to work it sure did look great. Amazing graphics! But this bad boy doesn’t like Windows Xp. In fact Aquanox fucking hates Win Xp. Out of the box it wouldn’t even run. A patch was released today that got it running. For a little bit. Very sad. It may be a great game, I just don’t know yet.

That’s about it for now. I’m also trying to pick up a copy of Wizardry 8. But have had zero luck in finding anyone who has a copy. Sometime when I have time, I need to get out and see some of my peeps. Who I have been neglecting because of my crack like habit with DAoC.
