Well got some more activity over in the GuestBook again. This time a nice guy and teacher over at the High School signed in. This is my second teacher that I know of. The last time I had a teacher stop in was when I put up the link to the website that tells what the teachers make a year.

After what seems a long time ago in a galaxy far away my good friend Kenan has finally come to my site. It took him long enough. At least I’m assuming it’s Kenan. Me and him we go way back. This is a place he should come to every day. Now if I can only get him to write for the site. Man that would be good reading.

Well somehow I managed to lose a days worth of news. Of course not that there was a lot of news in that one day. Regardless of my news lose not much has been going on.

The news item in question was from the 31st of July and told about how I fucked up the Four F’s. Not really an earth shattering important bit of text.

What else? I’m not smoking again. I’ve said it so many times now I’m like the boy who cried wolf. It’s going on the start of my forth night smoke free.

I want to smoke. Or I should say I want to smoke because I have nothing better to do at work. So why don’t one of you hit the comments or the GuestBook or fire me off an to @hotelblues.com. Give a good reason to smoke or not to smoke. One way or another for or against.

Here is another article from Beloitdailynews.com that made me laugh. This one isn’t related to the hotel or me, it’s just funny. Wosconsin News In Brief is the catchy title. This joke I will explain. You see this is a newspaper. They are supposed to be journalist’s. Their offices are in Wisconsin. You think they would know how to spell the state they live in.

The last time I heard from Adrian was back in February. Here is what the young lad had to say in the GuestBook:

Well as far as instant messages are concerned, most of the time I forget to run the program. I’m also way behind on my list of friends I should e-mail. That’s not counting the people I should reply to. I’m trying to get better at this stuff. I’ve just been really lazy.

Ok up and running good here is a link I found and just laughed my self silly. Something awful dating game gone awry is the name of the link. Here’s a blurb from the page by the guy who put it up:

“all of a sudden, hundreds and hundreds of twisted fucks like me bombarded this place, and took over.”

A warning to those of you who are on the opposite side of my sense of humor. Stay away from this one. Some of it I even found offensive. It’s a page done up by some Something Awful forum members. That should be warning enough for you people who are in the know.

The blind date was something new for me. I have not been a big blind date kind of guy. I have not been a big date guy. So my telling of how the blind date went will be from my perspective. It was three couples that went on this blind date. Me and my date, and the other two couples. For the sake of this review I’m going to concentrate on my “date” only.

You have to remember I’ve been out of circulation for a long time. So my comments will have a certain misogynistic quality to it. And there I go using that word again. My date was a nice lady. I have nothing bad to say about the chick, ok?

We went to J.M.K. Nippon. First strike. I don’t like Japanese food. It was cool and all that. But just not something I would do. I didn’t mind the food. I don’t like sushi and I refuse to try it. I tried to be funny and all that. I just felt that there was no vibe going on. Not that I was looking to marry the chick. Again it’s just me.

Second strike was when we went to Oscars Pub. A bar was something I could do for the second part of the date. Give me some alcohol and I’m fine. But as it is with me, mistakes were made. First I guess I didn’t go and sit by her. So the conversation process was killed. Of course the chick didn’t come and sit by me, either. So it was a wash in my mind.

The third strike was the fact I wasn’t into the whole spirit of the blind date. I have some issues I still have yet to resolve. Nothing that needs mentioning here. Just something I have to deal with.
