I often forget how the kids take my word like I know what I’m talking about. On the subject of lumpy I suppose I am. Fuck him. My favorite part is when my best friend gets on the mic to chastise me.

At some point I think people are going to think I’m making this shit up. First the worst hotel ever was hiring everyone. Then they needed bartenders and night auditors. Now it appears they are hiring for the night aduit:

In my day there were certain steps one took before the sign was done. First usually sales and catering were the ones that decided what went up there. Sales would have this sheet they would fill out that told the bellman what went up on the sign. This sheet was passed to the front desk manager first before the bellmen would get it. At some point between the sales people and the front desk manager spell checking was done.

I guess the current worst hotel ever managers are actually more incompetent than the ones there around the time I got “fired” for the second time. At least the douche bag who was gm knew how to work spell check. This shit went up yesterday, so lets see how long it is before it gets fixed (they read this site still) or something else gets put up there (with a 50/50 chance of it being spelled right). Of course I wonder if a night aduitor gets paid more than a night auditor? Honestly though what a bunch of retards.

Tim Story must die. It’s that time of again when the Barbershop director unleashes a new Fantastic Four movie on the world. I’m getting ahead of myself. First things first. This has me all pissed off. And here is the important part:

A storm cloud.

Stop right there. Fuck them. Galactus is the devourer of worlds goddamn it. The first picture is a cloud. The second picture is Galactus The Devourer of Worlds.

The Big G is not a fucking cloud. End of story. Tell this to that piece of fuck Tim “Barbershop” Story. Below is what Tim “Taxi” Story thinks Galactus should look like:

So what we have here is proof that some comic books should not be made into movies. I’m glad I stuck to my guns and did not go and see this movie. I won’t watch it on dvd either. I’ll just dream of Fantastic Four movies that could have been.

At least Tim Story can’t fuck up the comic books themselves. Do yourself a favor and just go and buy this below.

Look out worst hotel ever “Best Western to open in a few weeks” which can only be bad news for that shithole. This new hotel will have 67 rooms and one meeting room. The Daily News article says the amenities will be:

…an indoor swimming pool and a whirlpool, a fitness center, free breakfast daily, six whirlpool suites, wired and wireless Internet, a guest laundry facility, iron and ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, in-room guest safes and more.

The article also mentions that the place is hiring:

The hotel will hire 20 full- and part-time employees. Those interested in a job at Best Western can apply at the site of the hotel in the front vestibule. On average, the wages will be $7 to $9 an hour

I’ll throw my resume in there just for shits and giggles. It would be great to be able to only drive five minutes to work.

I like the mayors comments:

“We welcome them with open arms,” Mayor Randy Kirichkow said. “We’re looking forward to having their name near the interstate.”

It’s like the city mayor acknowledges they only have bad hotels in the city. The city certainly went out of the way to get the Best Western here:

The City of South Beloit offered Best Western a property tax abatement that will last two to three years, depending on the assessed value of the property. The hotel was also constructed in South Beloit’s Enterprise Zone, which means that there was no sales tax on the building materials for the new structure. The city also reduced the sewer connection fee from $85,000 to $20,000 for Best Western and allowed for a variance in the height of the hotel and its sign.

It shouldn’t be no surprise why the city went out of it’s way to attract this new hotel:

South Beloit has a 4 percent hotel room tax, which means Best Western will bring in about $50,000 to $60,000 each year for the city, Kirichkow said. The 1 cent sales tax will generate an estimated $10,000 to $20,000 a year from the hotel, Kirichkow said.

I’m sure the city will profit more off of this brand new hotel than the dying worst hotel ever. With any luck this will be the last nail in the coffin for the worst hotel ever.
