Fuck NBC! I do the equivalent of having something taped off of the tv by a buddy and have it given to me to watch and I get this shit in my inbox? I don’t see the difference. I don’t have cable. So if I have my friend tape it off of tv will we get hit with this shit when we are trading vcr tapes? For the record I really liked My Name is Earl. I bought the first season on dvd. I won’t be buying the second now. Also I’ve learned my lesson on using external trackers on Demonoid.

Dude, thats some fucked up shit. Who do those wankers think they are complaining about piracy! If anything, those companies are too fucking stingy with their shit. How on earth do they think they’re ever going to be taken seriously, especially if they go after the small potatoes. Why dont they quit worrying about what the little guy is doing and kep to their fucking selves. And yes, I agree that getting things off the internet is just like recording a vcr tape or a burned cd. The only way I think something like that should get looked into is if someone is SELLING or otherwise gaining a profit off of their stuff, or if they are releasing something before its hit the streets so to speak. But if they’re being bitches about someone downloading an episode of a tv show that has already aired, then they need to get their heads out of their asses and get a whiff of the real, current world. I bet half of those corprate “anti-piracy” fucks have downloaded content on their computers thats not neccessarily on their terms of up and up. Fuck them. Fuck this copyright infringement bullshit. Its a ban on freedom.
So did you e-mail them? Tell us! What happened? Did you politely tell them off? Or suck up to them in a whimpering sort of way?
The public wants to know!!! ;P
Fuck no I did not email those assholes. Being the pirate I am, I did a google search for “Unauthorized Use of NBC Universal Properties” and found PeerGuardian 2. A neat little open source free program that blocks those assholes looking to catch people downloading shit off of peer 2 peer networks. Then I went and downloaded the rest of the My Name is Earl episodes I missed. Fuck NBC!
Boo ya! Take that NBC! fuckers…. Good work Turk :)
NBC Universal are a bunch of stuck up fuckers who shouldn’t be taken seriously at all. The buy out great programs like BSG and House and My Name is Earl and then go fuck over their fans by pulling this shit (i.e. bitching about piracy or demanding six bucks per episode on iTunes). They should be shut down and their programs transferred to an actual studio that isn’t corrupt and stupid. Good for you, Turk, go right ahead and use that Peer blocking software. Anything to fuck over those douchebags.
It should be mentioned I don’t watch My Name is Earl any more. And when I say watch that includes on tv, downloaded from the net, or buying the season dvds. NBC can go fuck themselves. NBC lost a fan and a customer for life.
[…] Your page is on StumbleUpon […]
Yeah they did Knightrider the same damned way I bet its because the head bitch “Angela Bromstad” didnt like the show….HOW THE FUCK is she going to “save” NBC with this type of shit? yeah FUCK over there fans to save a few bucks…FUCK N B C they can suck a dick, yay for P2P
I HATE NBC!! I just got the same email that you did saying I downloaded an episode of House! ONE EPISODE, when I’d already bought 3 damned seasons and for ONCE didn’t feel like I needed to pay for it! I wrote them a nasty email stating that before they decide it’s a good idea to piss off another (now previously) loyal customer, they should consider googling themselves and taking a gander at all the disgruntled people out there. At the end I believe I said “Congratulations, NBC, you’ve lost yet another fan. Am I the millionth? Do I get a prize, or just another rude email?”
Fuck these assholes and hooray for PeerGuardian2.
Peerguardian is getting outdated. If you run Vista or Windows 7 make sure to check out Peerblock.
