I finally got around to buying Prey. I really liked the demo and had been meaning to pick it up once it was in stores. I just never found the time. Here are some screen shots:
The whole portal thing maybe a huge gimmick, but combined with the other gimmick of wall walking. I think these two things make Prey unique enough. Plus it’s another game using the Doom 3 Engine that plays great on my system. Which is always nice. I’m easy that way.
I’ve played the Prey demo on the xbox 360, and can’t wait to rent the game. Not only has it got the portals and the wall walking and the whole twist on gravity, but what I think I like most is dying. When you die, you don’t see the typical death screen before respawning, instead you go into the ‘afterlife’ where you have to kill stuff to get back to life… Very cool :)

Well on the 360 it’s a rental. Game only last 3-4 hours. Now if you got a pc that can handle it, its worth the purchase.
