My last article had a few comments posted to it. Comments being the link after the AIM icon. You click that and then your taken to the Forum so you can post your comments on what I wrote.

A couple of Geese Fans stumbled onto my site and left some words. Not words of wisdom by any means. These two chuckle-heads come to my site to comment on how me calling them cocky was wrong. Here are their unedited comments:

I think the COCKINESS came from the home team more than anything. And it is to bad all the showboating on the field didnt get the flags they deserved. You guys won fair and square, but you definitly wasnt the best team. Our boys were the most sportsman like kids in 1 A and it is sad that most of them said that the hobos were the ones that were cussing on the field and rubbing it in. We knew from last year how unsportsman like you people are so yes some of us did have an attitude coming to the arm pit of Illinois. We all will be rooting for Elpaso and hopeing the HOBOS go down on friday. It is sad that a reporter would put something like that in the paper but doesnt suprise me at all. Coming from such a nasty looking and smellin town.

Well if that doesnt just piss me off. your players yelling and screaming at the sidelines of Wethersfield. The profanity used by your players on the field. Talk about pathetic example of a possible 1A Championship team.
As far as the Officiating. Only way to explain that was they dont deserve to officiate a 5-6 grade game.
POOR SPORTS period is the only way to explain the Homo SObo

So because of these two rocket scientists you have to register to post comments. This is my website. I have nothing to do with the South Beloit Football team. I just happen to be a graduate. I’m a fan nothing more. You don’t like then you can leave. I’m all for free speech. But if your going to talk shit you have to be man enough to do it openly. You can’t say this dreck and hide behind the anonymous guest posting account.

I could say more, but then I would be as bad as these two Geese Fans.

A few posts back I was bitching about how the hotel hadn’t put up anything supporting the Sobos. They do now:

Ah the power of the internet. I hope they keep it up till after fridays game.

**Update** Well it’s down already. So much for the hotel being one to support the community.

Champaign corker and SoBos closing in on ultimate prize are two Beloit Daily News articles from todays paper. The first one tells about the Sobos 45-22 victory over Kewanee Wethersfield. The second one is by Sports Editor Jim Franz. Here are my favorite bits from the first article:

“It’s awesome to be able to beat them at home since they knocked us off last year and went to state,” Goldsworthy said. “This year we beat them, so hopefully we go and win state.”

“Last year was a disappointment, but this year we made up for it,” DeJuan Listenbee said. “To be the champs, you got to beat the champs and that’s what we just did. And to get there, it’s a dream.”

And boy what a dream it is. I think this dream has been every Sobo Football players. The game was awesome to watch. It was great going down on to the field after the game was over surrounded by all the Sobo fans. Friday I will be nervous as hell. I can’t go to the game, due to the fact I’m dead broke. But I will be thinking about them the whole day until I find if they won.
