I have to say hi to Kristin in sales who felt she has been left out in this webpage. Well this is something I won’t tolerate. Here’s what Kristin had to say:

on my first venture into the world of harpy I noticed a side bar regarding the sales office, and dammit I have to defend our fair office. I’m in touch with the front desk!! In fact I like to touch the front desk…alot. Just kidding, maybe…but anyway I want to know why I’m not mentioned anywhere in the website…I mean Erika is mentioned like 32 times. Do I not measure up, am I not an employee who suffers the same as everyone else?! (5 days a week, no weekends or holidays-ha ha) Well, thank you for allowing me to vent, see you the next time I make it into work on time.

There’s only one thing I can do to fix this horrendous wrong I’ve done poor Kristin.

And finally we have good/bad news. It depends on your opinion. The oldest Thorpe boy told that our buddy harpy number six is leaving the hotel. It seems Ericka has jumped ship and starts work at the steakhouse across the street from the hotel. I think its sad that employees that have been at the hotel have to leave to find better money. And I know that that has a lot to do with it. Those of us that stay at the hotel don’t always get the financial reward we are deserving. Ericka is a smart girl and she will do fine across the street. And it now gives me an excuse to go and eat there. I know me and Scott will miss her.

Well Things never go my way. What would have been four days of humorous updates to this page has been crushed by the no-show of the new guy. I was all prepared my training of the college boy. I purchased a copy of Stanley Kurbicks’s Full Metal Jacket (wide screen format) and I polished my combat boots (steel toed). Its a good thing too, he wouldn’t have lasted any way. The four nights with me would of done the old boy in. That’s ok though. One of these days they will give me another unsuspecting fool to train. I’m saving the movie and my boots for them.

Today is Sarah’s birthday. Sarah is now at the ripe age of twenty-three. So everyone wish Sarah a happy birthday when they see her. Everybody join in Singing: “Happy birthday to Atilla. Happy birthday to Atilla. Happy birthday to Attila!!! Happy birthday to you. How old are you? how old are you?” You get the picture. And Luckily for Sarah she does not actually get to hear me sing.

I have heard from a few of my viewers that The AGM (Assistant General Manager) and the before mentioned FDM have been asking for the address to this site. If anyone who reads this is asked for the address to my site give it to them. I won’t apologize for anything I wrote and I won’t move to another address without letting everyone know (hint, hint). And if you are an AGM or FDM I say welcome. I hope that you don’t misunderstand what I say. On the record I like both of them. And I may have said a few nasty comments toward the start of the site about those two (around the 31 Jan to early Feb). In the time since early Feb I have come to understand them both better. And I don’t have a problem with either one.

Well it seems the FDM is back to a pervious password. Its almost as if his password was something one tried on, and he hasn’t found a perfect fit yet. I had mentioned to several people that if he didn’t want me to do stuff that I should not be doing that he should just talk to me. And I don’t know why he hasn’t. Again for the record I want to say I have nothing against the FDM. I just wish he would talk to me if he has a problem, that’s all.

Well here it is. This site has been up since January 31st. It is now September 26th. Today The Man called me into his office. He wanted to discuss my site and threatened to fire me. It seems the FDM didn’t want to talk to me about anything. He came in this morning acting the same as usual. And once again I want to state that I have nothing against the guy. I like him.

Now The Man (GM Type) stated to me that I can not have “pertinent hotel information” on this site any more. When I asked him if “pertinent hotel information” included my opinion he told me I could put my opinion on my site to look for a new job. Which if you ask me that isn’t much of a definition.

So what does this mean? For a while no more “pertinent hotel information” as The Man says. But it also frees up some time to do research on the subject. I in a way new this was coming, when I gave this address to the F&B.
